What is Black Oxide Finish?
A chemical conversion process where:
1.Ferrous metals react with alkaline oxidizers
2.Forms magnetite (Fe₃O₄) surface layer
3.Maintains precise part dimensions

Coating weight: 0.5-3.0 g/ft²
Salt spray resistance: 12-96 hours (with sealant)
Surface roughness: Ra ≤0.2μm change
